Dagistheus: SW(south-west) of the Hippodrome, just outside the Great Palace, across from the Church of Saint Anastasia ( close to the location of the Sokullu Mehmet Pasa Cami). Begun by the emperor Anastasius I at the end of the 4th C. and completed by Justinian. abandoned by early 9th C., it was reported by then a monk was living in hypocaust. These baths were part of The small Dagistheus Palace, probably a satellite of the Great Palace. also referred to as the Baths of Anastasius.
