This installation was once located in Bahçekapı, opposite the Hamidiye Imaret and School and opposite the tomb of Abdülhamid I, on the site of the present-day National Lottery Administration. It was demolished to make way for the construction of the waqf han, and the fountain was relocated to its current position at the corner of Zeynep Sultan Mosque, opposite the Soğukçeşme Gate of Gülhane Park, where it was rebuilt.
